Meet in Ballypatrick Forest carpark at 11am for a walk along the river and general forest stuff; tree climbing, river messing, nature hunting fun. Bring lunch and possibly a change of clothes as the river is very enticing. The road is tarmac so pushchairs and or bikes are easily accomodated.
Meet in the carpark and walking to the viaduct hopefully for a fire and fun in the forest. Warning there is a deep water small pond here so keep eyes on little ones. 11am in the carpark or just follow the road to the right - or if no pushchair or bikes follow the path through the woods to the viaduct.
Every year we make a special effort to have an exciting week near the start of September - it allows us to welcome those starting their first year of home education, to reconnect after the summer, to kick start our year...
Everyone should feel free to organise their own events - and if they clash with others, or spill into other weeks, then don't worry too much - the more options and excitement we have then the better NBTSW'16 will be!
Planning an meet up at this permaculture community garden between Coleraine and Ballymena. We can do some planting, there is a toddler area, a slack line, a little playground, some hens and a yurt. Bring an activity if you want, The organiser may do felted walking sticks with whoever fancies it. And something for a lunch together. Donations for the group on the day.

As a taster to the aquarium,
I hope to have light refreshments for early arrivals and then stay as long as you want...the aquarium closes at 5pm.
Let us know if you would like to attend.
We will be celebrating with a party at the home of one of our members. Please let us know if you would like to join us, since it is in a member's home this meet will be open to North Coast Home Educators (those who have been to a previous meet up - there is still time to get to one!) and those home educators known to the host. We will each bring some sort of Christmas craft or game, and something tasty to eat.
An Creagan where the sun always shines, probably. Weather permitting (and we aren't too fussy!) we will be meeting in January. We will play, explore, dig and climb as usual - and we will also have the opportunity to work with living willow. All welcome, no charge - but its helpful to know who is going to come so get in touch.
Experience an archeological dig, there will be a talk, a walk and the chance to volunteer to help with digging and surveying. Let us know if you are interested in attending.
