Come and start the New Year with a muddy and marvellous time in the wonderful Wild Woods, our visits go ahead in any weather so come prepared, bring extra marshmallows, dry wood, food for lunch and probably a change of clothes. We've done activities from planting to beading, painting, climbing, whittling, digging and den building, its always a great day.
We're planning to go on Wednesday 24th. 10am-2pm Gives for dry weather but who knows lol. We can go to the palace stables play park too if anyone is interested. We can put you in touch with the families attending.
This co-op will focus on flight, from special adaptions of animals and birds to be able to fly, to man made aircraft and aerodynamics.
March Meet in An Creagan. Last time was the first time it has ever rained on us, and we still had a wonderful time - fire, marshmallows, water, wet socks, climbing, willow weaving, digging and MUD!
Bring clothes for all weathers, food to eat (extra marshmallows always welcome), a change of clothes for the car and wellies.
After our wonderful course earlier this year, an overnight course has been organised for October, places are very limited.
Accomodation is in two wonderful tepees, great food by the camp fire and previous activities have ranged from nature walks to knife-throwing!
"Some of the greatest scientists of all time were females who have made important discoveries in a variety of fields in science. Several of their contributions throughout history have even surpassed those of their male counterparts."
Each family will choose a female scientist and make a short presentation or display about their work, if we can fit in a few experiments then all the better.
